Logo doodles on my order pad at my restaurant job - December 8th, 2013
Okay, seriously: I feel like I've been working on this one FOR-EV-ER.
Saddleback College is doing a vocal competition event next year and they require a logo. "Something that reads well as a giant projection." Honestly, I'm not too comfortable with logo design (yet). I feel like I cram in too much visual info to compensate for the lack of text. Beginner's mistakes, I 'spose.
But I finally finished a few concepts I'm pretty happy with. They're ready for feedback so I can start designing posters and postcards and invites. Which is my favorite part.
So here are the best ones.
Super simple. But sooo glad that's finally off my plate. Now I can focus on the rest of my project to-do list:
Sort through family photos to use as christmas gift tags.
Design labels for our famous Cuban Creme de Vie.
Organize and pretty-ify résumé.
Create a brand for... well, my very own self(!)
Create a Fiverr account and brainstorm a few products I could offer to develop my skills (and add to my portfolio).
In the meantime, I'm off to bed. Goodnight world.
